Do you believe days will be

better ahead

Though circumstances at times

Get in our head

It would not hurt to believe

That our lives will prosper given a leader

With great and just power

But where can we find

A Leader of that kind

When hunan race is tainted

With imperfection and sin on their head

Seems impossible

For us imperfect people

But for the maker

Of this universe up and under

On his command
