Irony of space explorations!
Mans desire to unlock the mysteries of the universe and the so called search for intelligent life forms on other planets and of course the grand military and political supremacy led capable nations to embark on an ambitious space exploration programs.
During the 1950's to 1980's space scientists were able to accomplish remarkable advancements in space travel.
They successfully managed to launched massive space rockets therefore defying and stretching gravitational hurdles. And to escape our fiery atmosphere they developed super heat resistant materials to preserve hull integrity of spacecrafts.
Probes were also sent to other parts of our solar systems and beyond our galaxy, this probes traveled for years and sent myriad datas about our galaxy!
And to top all these , space exploration savvy nations came up with a brilliant idea of building a floating station above earth station.
This floating space station served multiple research purposes.
But the best part of this spacestation is that it also serves as a mechanical eye observing earth from space.
But here's the catch, despite the fact that billions of dollars had been spent and still is spending, there is this bitter reality facing this space exploration mania,. The thought of space life and other intelligent life existence remains still a child adventure bedtime story!!!
One astronaut while on board the international space station can't help to be amazed looking at this blue planet standing out in the vast darkness of space! Our planet,. EARTH!!!!
It's funny , to think they are in space to explore the universe yet the only eye catching to look at is earth.
Space exploration is like when you travel the whole world but back home you have not even visited your best friend's place!
I mean, had they spend those billions of dollars exploring earth I believe the results would be more beneficial more realistic and more satisfying.
Instead of throwing billions those dollars in space I believe it is much wiser to spend it exploring our only home in the universe: EARTH.
