For Me

A simple life
Is enough for me
I need no palace
Nor a golden grass
I need no car
I can walk
And run far
I need no feast
Where beast
Eat and rest
I need no scepter
Nor a diamond crown
I am always inclined
To bow my head down
I need no elegant gown
That would make
Poor and peasants frown
All I need is a home
To rest and sleep
In a lazy afternoon.
