What are the preparations for climbing the mountain?
For you nature lovers, mountain climbing is an activity or hobby that is very fun and challenging for us, mountain climbing can also be used as an exercise to stimulate adrenaline, mental, patience and cooperation with your climbing friends.
By climbing the mountain we can also explore nature more broadly and get to know the wild nature that is there.
Because we are going on an adventure in the wild, we must really prepare some of our supplies when climbing the mountain, both preparation for consumption and preparation for ourselves and equipment for climbing.
Here are some preparations that must be prepared
Mountain bag
A mountain bag is equipment that you must have, because to climb the mountain we will certainly bring a lot of supplies and several other tools, so we also need a strong bag to carry all these supplies.
Tent
You must bring this main equipment, if you don't bring a tent it will be a fatal mistake because at the top of the mountain there are no hotels or villas to stay, so don't forget to bring a tent.
Sleeping bag
After we climb and reach the top, or let's say we take a break in the middle of the trip, you also really need a sleeping bag to warm your body, because the temperature on the mountain can be lower than we expected.
Mattress
Even though we've brought our tent, we'll also need a mattress to cover. This mattress can also function as a base when we are cooking outside the tent and put things on the mat to keep it clean.
Mountain shoes or sandals
We already know that the terrain or track that is on the hiking trail is not easy because there are many rocks and maybe slippery soil when climbing during the rainy season, therefore we really need sandals or special hiking shoes because mountain shoes or sandals are stronger.
Cooking utensils and food ingredients
We are also obliged to bring our equipment and supplies later on in the mountain, you have to be really careful to prepare these supplies and the food supply must be sufficient, choose durable foods and cooking utensils that are more compact, it will make it easier for you to carry them.
Emergency medicine or supplies
Medicine boxes or survival kits, waterproof flashlights, matches, knives and others, you also don't take this equipment lightly because this is very important just in case something unexpected happens.
As for the preparation on our own body
Physical preparation
Diligently exercise for a few days before climbing, such as running in the morning to increase our stamina and endurance, because we need a really strong physique to get to the top of the mountain.
Mental preparation
It takes a strong mentality to climb a mountain because we are in the middle of the wild, facing extreme hiking trails, facing bad weather if it occurs, to face all of that we must prepare mentally strong.
intention and believe
For beginners, usually they just follow along to climb the mountain with their friends without any intention and belief, that's a big mistake, you must have the intention and belief to get to the top or you will only become a burden to your friends in the middle of the trip.
So for some of the preparations above, either the preparation of the tools or the preparation of ourselves is really needed, we also have to learn the tracks and paths of the mountains that we will climb.
Suggestion
It's true that nature is very beautiful but if it's the wild, of course there will be danger there so we must always be careful on our journey, don't get separated from the group or you will get lost.
My advice if it's your first time climbing a mountain, it's better if you invite your friends who are experienced in mountain climbing, it will be very good to guide and monitor those of you who are climbing the mountain for the first time.
