Several months ago, my colleagues and I visited the Kali Goa tea garden located in Bumiayu Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia. This tea garden is very beautiful and the air there is very cool because it is located at an altitude of about 1000m above sea level.

In addition, in this tea garden we not only witness its natural beauty, there are also historical places and some places that are said to be very mystical and have myths by local residents.

This place is always crowded with visitors, especially during holidays, there are those who gather together, family, friends or maybe with their life partner and there we can also rent a villa if you want to stay there.

And here are some tourist attractions that we can enjoy there, such as:

Tea garden viewing post

At this tea garden viewing post, we can see the beauty of mountains, vegetable fields, tea gardens and if we look there there is an active mountain, namely Mount Slamet, the second highest mountain on the island of Java with an altitude of about 3432 meters above sea level and this is a very beautiful sight. extraordinary. Here we can relax here while drinking coffee and enjoying the natural beauty that exists.

Tea garden

Of course this is a tea garden tourist spot so we can definitely explore this very wide tea garden, because of the vastness of this tea garden, maybe we won't be able to explore all the tea gardens here. So, the manager of this tourist spot has prepared several spots that provide views so that we can enjoy the beauty of the tea gardens there.

The place is easy to access by vehicle.

As we can see in the photo above there are several vehicles such as cars and small buses, although this tea garden is located in the mountains, we can also access this place easily, we can come to this place by motorbike, car, or even by small bus.

Eternal water

As you can see, this is an eternal spring, the water in this place never runs out even in the dry season. This place always emits water, and it is said that according to the myth that circulates, whoever drinks the water there will recover from the illness that is being suffered and if we wash water on our face, then our face will be more youthful.

But all of these are just myths circulating there and we have to respect that or we will get karma if we violate or dare to interrupt the myths that exist there, that's what the residents around this tea garden say.

Japanese Cave

This is a historical place that is there, this place is named the Japanese Cave because this cave was made by the Japanese army when the Japanese colonized Indonesia first.

This place has a dark history, Japanese soldiers used this cave to hide from the onslaught of allied forces and also to imprison slaves or hostages captured by Japanese soldiers.

Then this place was managed by tourists and underwent some repairs, and now it can be opened to visitors as historical education for visitors.

Other places available

In addition to tourist attractions, of course there is a factory to process tea leaves there, once every 2 months the farmers there pick young tea leaves to be processed at the factory.

And of course there are also various culinary places that are always there in some tourist attractions, of course, visitors don't just enjoy the scenery but have to taste the culinary there.

Those are some of the tourist attractions, myths and history that are there, I think this place is very beautiful and good for educating visitors about the myths and history that is there and of course for people who really like nature this place is very suitable to visit.
