Smart and intelligent are behavioral adjectives used to describe the qualities of a person. Many think the two words have the same meaning, even though there are different meanings or meanings of smart and intelligent.

The difference between smart and intelligent is the origin of the two. For example smart is a quality that comes through learning and adopting learned behavior, intelligence is an innate quality and an acquired trait.

Smart

Smart is a learned behavior. This is a behavior that can be adopted over time. Meanwhile, intelligence is an inherent quality.

Smart is having a knack for finding solutions in difficult situations faster than others or having different qualities that enhance how the brain works.

Smart refers to learned interpretations such as making intelligent emotional or business decisions. Smart is an acquired status.

Smart people are able to digest anything perfectly so they have very broad knowledge, and that knowledge is their main weapon. Smart people are also known to be disciplined and organized, so they are always able to do everything they are told to do. Smart, requires a process to understand something first with a certain period of time. Smart people can only answer things that have been learned.

Intelligent

Derived from the word 'intelligence', intelligent is an adjective. It is the ability to acquire and apply knowledge, information and skills. Intelligence is innate and cannot be sought. Intelligent people who rely on logic as a supporter. Thus, intelligent people do not only master one field, but other fields as well.

Measurement of a person's intelligence can be done through an IQ test. It is a person's capacity to acquire knowledge and process it. Being intelligent is considered an extraordinary trait but not considered practical because a highly intellectual mind is not something that everyone can understand.

Intelligence is an innate quality and is usually inherited. Our genetic structure gave birth to it. Thus, no separate effort is required to become a smart person. On the other hand, the intelligence inherent in a person can be polished by acquiring knowledge and making good use of it.

In contrast to smart people who are disciplined and organized, usually smart people look more relaxed. But not in a negative sense, intelligent people know when to be relaxed and serious, because intelligent people are very flexible.

Intelligent people rely more on critical thinking and experience. Emotionally intelligent people tend to be more emotionally stable than smart people.

So that's some understanding of the laws of intelligent and smart people. At first glance they are almost the same, but have different meanings.
