With blockchain network becoming specialized and layered Darwinian built a cross chain network protocol to join the different blockchains with layered networks, cross-chain interactions, application oriented design, user experience as it's key design features and principles.

Darwinia Network seeks to solve problems it identified while using blockchain technology to create dApps. Few of the problems is as listed below;

• Current blockchain infrastructure falls short of great users experience as high gas fee for transaction, even more than conventional banks charges, private key backup and the inability to retrieve tokens once password/seed phrase is forgotten. Design

Darwinia Network is a blockchain based on substrate technology and part of the Polkadot ecosystem but also different from Polkadot as Darwinia Network focuses on cross-chain interoperability. To break this down, darwinia seeks to enable seamless transfer of tokens, NFTs between Ethereum, EOS, and Tron chains, play games simultaneously across two public chains using Darwinia Network.

Of all infrastructure on Darwinia Network, Darwinia Bridge Chain is the most important and it's also the bridge between other public chains like Ethereum, Tron, EOS and Polkadot ecosystem. Darwinia chain can thus function as a solo chain on it's own and also as a Polkadot parachain.

Appchain SDK

In order to encourage developers to develop blockchain networks/dApps that meet application level requirements without little or no knowledge of blockchain technology, Darwinia developed a framework known as Appchain SDK. It's design goal is to simplify blockchain technology for everyday use. The Appchain SDK is said to be a set of blockchain development kit that can be tailored to the needs of application developers for different blockchain networks.

NFT Identifiability

Darwinia Network designed an inter stellar product coding standard that enables different public chain and different products to have a single ID on Darwinia network and thus enable inter blockchain transfer of NFTs with ease.

Darwinia Network ecosystem native token is Ring and it's a Proof of Stake (POS) token. Ring is traded in Uniswap, Huobi Global, BKEX, and other exchanges. The circulating supply is 450 million and maximum supply of 10 billion Ring token. Previously, before the Mainnet launch of Darwinia Network, Ring initial supply was 2 billion but with the launch, the total hard cap was moved to 10 billion as the maximum supply.
