Same Old Routine

Let me get through this day

in whatever mood or way

so long as it is quick,

So that I may tick

the box that says another done

another claimed, another won

this living towards future date

is killing my spirit of late

for the constant monotony

keeps getting the best of me

until I change routine

make it in my head seem

better than it is, more fun

brighten my disposition it's sun

it's bright blooming flowers

watching waste away hours

nearer and nearer to my goal

together soon, happier soul.
