The love of God
You have found God's love.
It was the same for him and her, as well as for me
Every one of us has found God's love.
Despite the fact that some of us deny it because we don't believe in God, we've all felt that immense love at some point in our lives.
That we were made in such a way that we had no choice but to love is truly astounding.
Those who did not love their children would almost never have children of their own, and their unloving character would die with them.
Loved ones would be the only ones to pass on their genetic traits to future generations.
That's how God made love a part of the human psyche.
In order to share this magnificent characteristic of Himself with the human race, God did so in this way
Humans are born underdeveloped, unable to walk, and utterly reliant on their caregivers.
We can only survive if we are given love.
Feeling happy comes from doing things that are beneficial to our well-being.
Sugar, which gives us energy and makes us feel good, has long been a necessary for humans, as has salt, which has long been a necessity for our health.
That's why it's so satisfying to eat the things that were once scarce but are now commonplace.
Only by making it readily available do we end up overdosing on it and making it harmful.
That's what's going on down here.
Physical love doesn't exist. Nevertheless, it was a requirement for our survival
And it's healthy for us, too. Anyone who has ever loved a child will tell you that it is a wonderful feeling.
We want our children to be happy because we care so much about them.
And we believe they would be delighted if they were crowned the world's best.
When it comes to academics, our students learn to win and beat their peers by striving to be the best.
Our hope is to make them happy by instilling in them a competitive spirit and a desire for more than others are willing to provide.
If we want to be loving parents, we must do everything we can to help our children succeed in a competitive world. So our parents taught us, so the media portrays, so our favorite movies and TV shows teach us about this. However, this is not the case.
It's great to be number one, but if we had to be unjust and unloving to so many others in order to do it, it has an exceedingly sour taste.
In our own history and God's own design, love is the most important thing.
When we sincerely love our children, we feel better than we have ever felt before.
Nothing makes us feel better than sincerely caring for those in need and doing our best to help them.
That random act of generosity and seeing the chain reaction that follows makes us feel better than anything else.
So, this is where things go awry in the globe.
We know that the most important thing in our lives is the love we have for our children.
However, do we instill in our children a love for others?
Do we instill in them the values that matter most to us?
That's not how we see it. We believe that competition will make them even more greedy.
Do we instill in our children a sense of selflessness and a desire to help others?
Do we begin by instilling compassion in our children?
Because we have the false idea of what happiness is, we're in trouble.
For far too long, we've conflated the concepts of comfort and contentment.
It's not always easy to be a good parent and raise happy children, but we try our best. Is that enough for them?
It is time for us to align ourselves with God's greatest gift, the love of God, which he has planted in our hearts and souls through a long and painstaking process of creation.
When will we come to grips with the reality of true contentment?
What matters isn't how well you do in school, how rich you are, or how powerful you are.
It's in the accumulation of super love, great help, and super kindness that it is found.
This is what we should be teaching our children if we actually care about them.
This divine attribute, this unending grace of our God, was planted in our hearts and souls as the spark that brings us light, calm, ease, beauty, creativity and everything else we could possibly wish.
You may find many films on You-tube showing debates between atheists and Christians.
It's amazing how often the believers lose discussions, no matter how strongly they believe. I pondered for a long, believing in the fact of God's presence as a wonderful creative power that directs the universe and our world away from chaos, why believers are frequently so inadequate in justifying their belief.
It is claimed by atheists that they are men and women of logic who refuse to accept things that do not make any sense. In spite of this, recent scientific breakthroughs have compelled them to assume that particles can be wavelike, that they can exist in multiple locations simultaneously, and that they can travel through any obstacle without difficulty (like a ball going through a window without breaking a window). These are merely the findings of research into the physical universe. Quantum physics.
Does it make sense to say that living things just follow natural principles if electrons in metal can go through all of these experiences? As far as we know, we still don't know much about how consciousness, life, cells, and the power of free will all work together. The number of electrons in a cell can be estimated. How many cells are there in the human body? How many interactions are there between all of a person's constituent parts, small and large? No matter how many galaxies and planets they BELIEVE exist and how many they believe are the result of random events, it still makes more sense to believe in a constructive and creative force instead.
A lot of ridiculous behaviors and superstitions have resulted through the exploitation of organized religion over the centuries for personal wealth and power. The atheists' videos are successful because they take aim at these absurdities. They may be unable to deny the existence of God, but they are not effective in denying the existence of anything beyond what our senses can detect.
I addressed the issue of how people view love in a video remark. Without being able to see or hear love, most people have experienced love. Despite our best efforts, we will never be able to witness or hear love itself. As a result of our feelings of love, we know that love exists.
Is it any wonder that someone who has never been in a relationship doubts the existence of love?
People all throughout the world, regardless of how we refer to him or her, are able to sense the presence of God, regardless of what name we give him or her. Meditation and quiet contemplation allow us to experience a deep sense of calm and serenity that permeates our entire beings. We must have an open mind and be able to quiet it in order to get insight into humanity's spiritual dimension. In the same way we tune into a radio station, we need to tune in. We can only make sense of it if we are listening to the correct frequency. Radios are useless, and people who believe in radio stations have no sense if they can't tune in to the appropriate frequency on their ancient radios that emit nothing but noise.
In the end, a hardcore atheist stepped forward and claimed that he had dreamed of a unicorn, which means that unicorns do exist. I told him that if his unicorn didn't bring him peace of mind, love, beauty, and wisdom, it was simply a bad dream. Those of us who believe in a'spiritual' creative potential, even though we may have thrown out the follies of superstition and excessive rituals that were indoctrinated by many of the people in authority of organized religion, can benefit from spiritual experiences that bring along these traits.
I feel sorry for folks who aren't open-minded. They may have visions of unicorns. They deny themselves the opportunity to gain a sense of calm, love, beauty, and wisdom. Spiritual people do live healthier and longer, as studies have shown.
