Breath in, breath out. Are you drained with your thinking? Constantly assuming with your weaknesses spent hours saying to yourself that you are useless. And you refer your own to the existence of other people. Or you're missing on chances to have a good job. You're taken off to something complicated situation, challenges, and frustrations. Well, I too have been there.

According to a psychologist's point of view, when you speculate negatively it will increase the chances to develop mental health problems, anxiety, and an attitude problem. And it also results in physical problems like headaches, digestive discomfort, weight increase, muscle, and joint problems, lovemaking desire, back pain, immunity, weariness, blood sugar levels. But no worries our mind has the potential to rewire, it is done through replacing unfavorable thoughts with favorable ones.

It will put up to discipline and prevent your negative thinking. Here are simple hacks to cut off negative thoughts.

  • Know your body lingo

What does it mean? It's a kind of body language or habits that you did when you are in a state of thinking negative thoughts. Did you grind your teeth or feeling tension with your body muscles like your face and jaw? Are your hands loosened up, and poutines. These are important warning signs of your body that can state your physical situation. There is a technique that will help you relax.

  • Breath deep, change your body posture, stomach in, breast out, stand straight, close your eyes. Then think of the things which make you proud, is it your kids, your greatest achievement in life, or think of the things that make you feel excited and delighted. It is helpful I've tried it already. How did your face react?

  • Utilize affirmative words

This is a type of proclamation to yourself that will encourage yourself, it gives impact to your mentality and body. It's either one line and repeating through the day.

Mindfulness

Be aware of your thinking, say no, and let them clear out. When there is a tendency to fall into negative thoughts you need to stop it.

Recognize your triggers

Be vigilant to what influence your reasoning, this could be a previous happening, or could be a harmful folk, or it is an existing circumstance and an awful affair. Make a list of the stuff that provoked you. For example, you're contained by people who did no good for your thinking, so back out. Divert your attention, see a movie, funny videos, go a hike or do a hobby that makes you feel good, this is to quiet our mind for a while, until you calm down and feeling better. Much better if you find someone that you trust and have a willingness to listen and give you advice.

Change your focus

Focus on things that can boost your positivity and goodwill in life. Give value to existence and maintain a daily devotional to keep your spirit lighten up with the word of God. Stop speculations about the future and focus on the present. Think of the things that you were grateful for and somethings that make you smile.

Ask yourself the question.

Is what I'm thinking useful to me? Or does it only caused me trouble and mind-blasting time?

To protect our thoughts is the best way because it will give an impact on our whole being, and in all our ways and action are so affected, like a relationship, in the workplace, in our business and professional career. Guarding our thoughts every time should never be left behind. I learned from this quote.

Wow it was relaxing and a much needed article for me I would say.💜 I'm really going through things that are stressing me out and the overthinking and negative thoughts are the worse of all. I have tried the breath in and out thing it's always helpful but I'll think of the other stuff too 🖤 thanks mate.
