Come home on Christmas Day

Since it's a ber month,and Christmas is still approaching I'm here again to share my thoughts about being at home on special day like Christmas . How does it feels when someone is away during this Christmas day?It feels so empty when the family is not complete to celebrate that day I remember when we used to live away from my parents before ,every year they hope for us to come home. And when a person is working abroad,like an "overseas filipino worker",who wished to go home,but they were not able to do so.There are a lot of important factors on Christmas aside from having food on the table. **Christmas means Home** How pleasure it was when a family gathered together,eating,singing,while celebrating the Christmas Eve.Preparing the foods together and greeting each other at 12 midnight with hug and a kiss.I was envious for that matter when I see a family bonding together,because in our family we don't have that kind of unity and togetherness among other siblings. But now that I have a family on my own,I'm excited always that we will be able to celebrate in our home,and with our parents and siblings who also lived near with us. It's gonna be a good time to celebrate with our family,it feels like the celebration is fulfilled and complete even if the foods are not so many. I remember when I was young ,my mother used to wake us up,when the 12 midnight comes,and she will have us bread and margarine to eat,that was way back year 2000 onwards,I never forget those days of simplicity that we had during Christmas. When I used to work before in other place from our home,every Christmas day ,I will never forget to go home,it feels like I'm satisfied with my love ones. **"I'll be home on Christmas** ",these words are a promise from a parent,or a brother and sister ,that live from a distance .Full of excitement ,to go back the land of birth,and bring gifts and special food for the family.It was a happy day,when one of the family member coming home,everyone is so excited and preparing everything because someone is coming. Just like when Jesus is born ,his parents was with him and they were a happy family together. Every family may have experienced different trials and problems due to pandemic.That's why it's really worth to celebrate,and enjoy each other's companionship,and bonding moments. Like for mommies,it's her time to showcase her favorite menu,and skills with cooking.And like me,I'd like to help my mother in cooking,because they will be probably be very busy during those special time. **Christmas Day at home is a very nice memory together** What did you remember last Christmas at home?Did you take photos with the food you cooked and the gifts and cards that you have received? One thing is for sure,that this platform and Noise.cash, will be flooded with notification of published photos of food and gatherings on that day,so I might prepare myself,and have something to eat on that moment.. "**Mama what will you cooked on Christmas?** This question is what I often asked to my mama before when I was with them,until today.And her answer is always brief and simple,"kung ano lang ang kaya ng budget ko( it depends on my budget),but what she always cooked was pancit,that's always the star on our celebration,for long life,hehe,we don't have a ham or lechon, we always have bread,peanut butter,and others. But to some people especially to my uncle who lived in Manila,he just say,"if only he can go home ",but he wasn't able to go home".I just wished him a good health and safe travel each day. **Home refers to a "family"** Come to the family on Christmas,will there be a time for reconciliation ,forgiveness and fixing broken relationships.Its a perfect time to humble oneself and be with them,show our love with them. **Home refers to unity** A family that is united together,helping each other and love each other will grow in their relationship.On Christmas day a family can gathered together in one purpose. I can't describe it perfectly but I always feel delight when I'm with my family on Christmas.I feel complete and contented. Jesus lived on earth who didn't live alone,but he is with his family,a mother and father in human body.God is so merciful who gave us a family that we have right now.Even if the family is not perfect but it's a perfect place to be ourself,to be true and even if we commit mistake but a family will always be an open arms for us. I wanna be home on Christmas day,and greet my family one by one.That would be an exciting day,I hope.to make it and never forget. Christmas means a lot to me,a time.for rest and take a break with all the stressful moments we had for the past days.My family have been through tough time with sickness and illnesses that I and my kids have experienced was never easy.But were so thankful that God gave us mercy and grace. For the second time this year I will be with celebrating Christmas in this platform,a new home for professional and unprofessional writers which is read.cash. I've found a home in which I can share my thoughts and ideas without judgment,and thanks for all the things we've shared here.
