Hello everyone, a good day to all of you. How's your Christmas Eve? Anyway, I'm watching TV while writing this article. Just get rest and relax from my household chores and cleaning work in the house. Well, I feel tired and stressed also with the kids. I have two kids and I've been a referee for a minute when kids are fighting. So I find time to simply sit in the chair and get my cellphone and start thinking.
Today I will going to share with you a thought of mine which I just observed during Christmas Day.
Usually, during a holiday like Christmas, all the mothers are too busy with cooking, preparing foods for the holiday season. Last night, we have dinner with the family in my parent's house, and with my uncle and cousins, where they sing a song or what we called "video", here in our place, we eat together.
This morning I saw my mother wash the dishes from last night get together, it was so many plates and a lot more. I see her tired. Mama will always be busy every day. Though we have already our own family my mother is never been absent every time.
As for me, being a mother I wish there was a day which I have a holiday. A day where I just sit and have time for myself, walk outside, and pamper myself from a lot of chores to do.
There are two types of the mother, a full-time mother, and a working mother.
A full-time mother gives full attention to her family and a working mom has a hard time being with the family. Even if a mother is in the house or outside the house, she's always been restless and exhausted throughout the day.
There was a story of a woman, she is a full-time mom. She is focused and gives her 100 percent effort to the kids and the family. She doesn't come out because she has a lot of things to do. She misses special events with her friends and other special occasions. Her kids grow and finished their studies, and have their own family. Their mother was already old and got sick. Then they realized they will assign a house helper for her so that she can rest from doing her household chores. Her children have no time to help her because they have their work to do. That's the only time when her mother feels how to be on a rest day.
Most of the time a mother is always been busy at home and I think the rest of the family should realize to give a break with their mother. Of course, there was a so-called " mother's day", but let's not wait for it to come and do our initiative to help them.
How to make a holiday for our mother?
1.Set an assignment for every family member.
This is applied with the division of the household chores, like cooking, washing the dishes, washing clothes, cleaning the house, and a lot more.
2.Making a surprise breakfast for your mother, a special treat to a salon that makes her feel happy and relaxed.
3.If the children were already at a young age, assigned them to wash their clothes, this is to teach them to be responsible with their stuff.
4.Plan something special with her, a time for her to rest and have a break.
Motherhood is supposed to be a happy and enjoyable task for everyone. Nowadays mothers are used to be productive in every way. Mothers deserved to sitting pretty and have some coffee.
Reasons why we need to give her a holiday
1.It can be the best gift ever
More than material things that we can give to them if we give them time for rest is much more than a surprise. It can be a trip or vacation, or to travel with your mother.
2.This will give your mother time for relaxation.
It rarely happens to every mother, relaxation time is so important, a time of space for her self-reflection.
3.It's the best way to catch up with her
The best to talk to your mother and check on her and bonding time. Oftentimes we don't have time to have conversations with our mother and know about her and how she feels.
4.Form incredible memories that will last for a lifetime
This is unforgettable for all the mothers who feel special and treated well by the rest of the family.
Mama: the glue that holds everything together even when she feels like she may fall apart.
