I saw something on the internet not too long ago. Some girls in LA using studio sets that look like a private jet for their Instagram pictures. They go there, pay through their teeth (because it has to be expensive) just to get likes and comments on Instagram. Another new wave of madness, wouldn't you agree? This kind of things shake one's reality a bit. Makes you question a lot of things.
When I was much younger, and active on Facebook, there's one thing I read all the time from people. That thing is, don't fall for the things you see online. They're all fake. Some of these people don't even have a permanent roof over their heads. Well, not the exact words but you get the picture.
These days, everything and everyone is so fake that you aren't even sure of the next person. You aren't sure of me writing this. Yes, that's right. That's how messed up things are. So when loved ones tell you to be careful on this street, take their advice. As the world advances, people get more and more insecure. The inferiority complex gets wider and wider. Makes you wonder if it will ever close.
It's so funny and so sad at the same time. You see people on the side dreaming and wishing they have the same lifestyle without actually realising that it's fake. Maybe one good thing about it is that it might make them work harder to get to that point. But what about the psych of people living the lie? Will it ever get better for them?
What kind of life are you living? Both on the internet and outside. Do you have the same life? Can people look at you and recognise you when you aren't hiding behind the keyboard? Or is it the same ooh and ahh.
Have a lovely Sunday.
