Good afternoon po. Grabe ang init ngayong araw. I can really feel the summer heat. I am lucky today because a vendor "manlalako" passed by shouting "Pakwan, orange, apple". I was feeding my pet dog outside when he passed by so I replied to him and asked to see his fruits. He was carrying a basket on his head while walking around. I was interested with his pakwan or watermelon! Indeed it was so juicy and red. " Ioilo po ito galing Mam!" , he said. I went back inside the house to get some money and I asked my youngest daughter to check on the pakwan. She liked it too! Well, the next thing I know is that she was cutting it to slices to be cooled for afternoon snacks. I got some for me to eat while checking on noise. Come let's have some watermelon! It's so sweet, juicy and refreshing! Now , I can say it is really summer time.
