When my parents were still alive, I used to visit them in Bacolod City. I have a sister who also lives there. In going to Bacolod City, I usually take Ceres bus from Cebu via Don Salvador Benedicto because it is a shorter route and I like seeing the mountain scenery. Traveling to Bacolod City you will pass by a long stretch of sugarcane plantation (hacienda). This photo was taken while I was riding the Ceres bus (before pandemic happened). You will see the tall sugarcane planted along the hi-way and behind it is the Kanlaon Mountain. How I missed traveling and visiting family. I wish we'll get back to our normal lives soon.
