Jiufen Visited Jiufen in Taiwan last April 2019. Jiufen is a former gold mining town found in the north eastern coast of Taiwan. Now it is a district with narrow streets where it is famous to explore Jiufen Old Street. You can also see fascinating views of the mountains and the sea. We were strolling along cobbled streets and visited interesting historical destination with a unique teahouse culture. There were several food stalls offering different delicacies and specialties. We ate local delicacies like peanut with taro ice cream wrapped in "lumpia" wrapper, and tasted some sausages. Here are some photos I shot at Jiufen. My own content and own photos.
