Ang larawan sa ibaba ay ang tinatawag na "Ruins" na makikita sa Negros Occidental, dito sa Pilipinas. Ito ay nawasak na mansyon noong WW2 at "pinanatiling wasak" para bisitahin ng mga turista. The Ruins is located in Talisay City, ( a neighboring city next to Bacolod City) in Negros Occ. It is the ancestral home of Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson and wife Maria Braga Lacson and family. This was built in early 1900 on a 440 hectare sugar plantation. It was burnt down by the Fiipino guerrillas during WW2 to prevent the Japanese invaders from using the mansion as headquarters. It is now preserved "in the ruined state" for tourism purposes by the heirs of Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson. It is one of the must see places when you visit Negros Occidental. The Ruins has a restaurant and a gift shop for souvenir items. Sometimes, special functions are held at the Ruins like wedding and parties and during these occasions, the site is closed to the public. My last visit to the Ruins was in April 2017. Joined by my friends who came from the neighboring provinces, we explored and admired this attraction and made happy memories. We had a great time together. 📷was taken personally by me in 2017.
