I felt very sad looking at my purple heart plant. Yesterday it was still blooming with beautiful purple flowers and when I checked this morning , the leaves were gone and some stalks were broken. They were eaten by the snails. I found some snails hiding in the nearby snake plant so I sprinkled some salt on the snails. There were other plants eaten by the snails and it is so sad. I took some cuttings of Purple Heart stalks and tried planting them in another pot. I hope it will grow again. I better check again tonight because the snails will attack our plants at night time. Initially, I thought it was a caterpillar that ate some leaves but then I saw plenty of snails.
