As I Pass through this lane full of blooming Fire trees or Flame trees ( Delonix regia), I remembered my childhood days. It was our project to plant Fire trees around the church yard in our barangay before we graduated elementary education. It's the church grounds where we used to play around after school. Those trees grew and bloomed regularly for many years. But lately, after more than 50 years, when I visited the church grounds again, all the fire trees were gone. I felt very sad. Then I passed through these blooming Fire Trees during our family outing. As I move forward with every step I make, memories came rushing back on this hot sunny morning. The Fire Trees blooming gave me the strength and energy to fight and win every battle in life. The bright colorful flowers were so vibrant that it gave me the burning desire to strive hard and gave me the endurance to attain a successful life. What do you feel when you see blooming Fire trees?
