Shocking news. Wala na po bang "value" ang ating buhay sa panahon ngayon? Nakakatakot na ang ating mundo na kinagagalawan. Just this afternoon, a prestigious lawyer here in Cebu was ambushed inside his car and died on the spot. He was my high school batchmate. He was a human rights lawyer. Recently, he was all over Facebook because he was on hunger strike because he sued the owner of the condominium unit where he lived.The owner cut his electricity and water supply because he refused paying the charges pending clarification and details on the breakdown of the charges. He ended his hunger strike when doctors checked him up and recommended that he stop because he is already showing signs of ketosis. I was so shocked upon hearing the news because he was still communicating with our group at 1pm today. The ambush happened at about 4:10pm. May his soul rest in peace.
