Buddha's head Ayutthaya Historical Park In one of my travels together with my sisters, our trip to Thailand in July 2017, was quite memorable. Aside from going around Bangkok, we also visited the Ayutthaya Historical Park. It is famous for its ancient temples and Budhha statues. Walking around the site under the bright heat of the sun gave us a glimpse of this UNESCO World Heritage declared historical site. One of the impressive sites on Ayutthaya we visited was at Wat Mahathat. We saw the Buddha's head entangled with Banyan tree roots. No one can explain how the famous Buddha's head ended up here but this added a special feeling of awe and wonder on nature's capabilities.
