The higher power is you
People often wonder why they are here on earth, why they were given birth to without them asking to be born. I for one asked the so called higher power (God) why it (he) brought me here without any plan for me and (or) without my consent.
In all honesty I always wonder if there’s more to being alive, or maybe we are nothing but a meaningless pile of molded dirt that will stay molded for a short period of time and decay into the earth as nothing but dirt again.
Life has a way of taking a toll on you irrespective of who or what you are. You may be financially buoyant and be emotionally broke. You might be emotionally loaded and be as broke as a church rat. You can also have both good financial standing and emotional balance but health and social life are other factors that will beat the joy and happiness out of your short decaying life.
Sometimes I feel like there’s a guy sitting somewhere above the earth who’s looking down on our every move who has the capacity to change certain things and manipulate our journey by putting obstacles in our part. But most importantly the intention of life I feel is to trick us into traps that will suck away our hopes and make us miserable before we go back to being dust.
Now talking about who is responsible for me being here without my consent. Life is hard for me and so many other people, financially, emotionally, socially, medically, mentally or even psychologically. The question now is why go through all of these when you didn’t ask to be put here on earth?
Well, I began seeing life in a new light. Life is like a game in which you begin with zero understanding of anything. It’s scary to drop your memory and knowledge of who or what you are and venture into an unknown world or space. We are suppose to learn and master the game of life. Now we have limited time in this game. We don’t have infinite amount of time in the game of life, our choices in the game will determine how far we go and how long we stay. Mastering life requires a lot from everyone of us. Every situation in life has something to teach us. Being here on earth is one of the toughest levels of existence there is. Nobody is forced to be part of the game, you make the choice to be part of the game. Choosing the game is entirely up to you. If you find yourself on earth, then it’s totally your choice that brought you here.
What role did your parents play in bringing you in? They produced the body or vessel through which you can function on earth. You should thank them for giving you the opportunity you needed to be here and for being there to support you when you couldn’t support yourself. Thank them for nurturing till you are matured enough to lookout for yourself.
Now who is the higher power that brought you to life? It is no other but you.
