The village is situated on the right bank of Struma river, surrounded by mountains, hills and plenty of agricultural land.
The produce of the land is mainly tomatoes, peppers, corn, apples, cherries, beans, pumpkins, watermelons.
There are herds of sheep, cows and goats, a lot of milk is being produced as well. The rivers provides good opportunity to fish, you can catch barbel fish, river mullet, common nase ор carp.
The village has about 100 population, it's really small. People live a simple life, they work hard and make the best of what they have. They help and support each other, you can always rely on your neighbor.
There is a small chapel in the center of the village.
The place has stayed the same for many years, very quiet, far away from the noise of the city.
The video below was made 2 years ago, when after many years of living abroad, I had a chance to visit back the village, together with my son. Looking at him there, I could see myself as a child - walking the dusty roads with friends, playing football, fishing and swimming. Simple moments to be thankful for.
