Moral Objectives of Zakât.

Payment of Zakât indicates obedience of the prayer to Allah.

The payer of Zakât would be freed of guilty conscience on seeing the poor for he has made some provision for their welfare.

The poor will have good-wishes for the rich who through the payment of Zakât demonstrate concern for their plight.

The payer of Zakât is confident that Allah will bless his or her wealth.
