Modes of revelation

Revelation is a means through which God sends messages to human beings through His Prophets.

There are different ways through which Allah communicates with human beings.

The Quran(Q.42:51) mentions the three modes of revelations.

They

1) Wahyun (inspiration).

2) Ruya (dream).

3) Malak (angels)
