The word "kahva" ("kafa" and "kava" are also used) in the languages of the peoples of this area came from the Turkish word "kahve", which, in turn, originated from the Arabic term "qahwah". It is in this way, from Yemen and Arabia, through Istanbul and along the Balkan Peninsula, that coffee with the Ottomans reached our lands. As Bosnian coffee has been an integral part of social life in Bosnia and Herzegovina for centuries, over time, different names for coffee have developed depending on the occasion in which this beverage is drunk. The first morning coffee, which is made stronger to wake up and cheer up, is called "razgalica". There is also a slightly morning or later morning coffee "razgovoruša" (talker), which is drunk to encourage socializing and conversation. And, in the evening, "šutkuša" is drunk in peace and quiet. The guests are greeted with a "dočekuša", while the "sikteruša" is a polite "isharet" (sign) that it is time to bring the friendship to an end and for the guests to go home. 😂☕️🙃☕️🤤☕️😁☕️😋☕️🤗
