three steps to personal development

Life lessons, wisdom, knowledge, and evolution, to name a few, are all examples of inner growth.

It's commonly developed as a result of life experiences, particularly those that aren't particularly pleasant. Humans appear to be hardwired to learn through suffering, which makes sense when you about it. After all, if everything was perfect all of the time and we were happy with every part of our lives, why would we want to ruin it all by going through suffering in order to learn something?

Although inner growth takes place on a path, it is rarely smooth, even, or straight. It usually always consists of three key steps, though:

1. Becoming aware of the problem. When anything in your life isn't working for you, this knowledge usually arises as a result of your discomfort. The majority of the time, this is something that gives you emotional distress rather than bodily distress, though both are possible.

2. Obtaining and disseminating information and education about the problem. So, what happened to bring about this new level of awareness? What is it that isn't working for you, and how is it not working for you? What can be done about it? These are just a handful of the key questions you should be asking at this point. Some of them may astound you.

3. Applying knowledge and education to the problem. This is the prize. This is where you can check how much you've learnt about the topic you've chosen to explore. This is the gratification, the pleasurable aspect of personal development.

Let's have a look at an example. Let's say you've been laid off.

1. Be aware. That is, after all, self-evident. You are no longer employed.

2. Information gathering Why did you lose your job? Was it something you were doing, or something you weren't doing? Is it specific to you or does it apply to everyone? What do you need to alter about how you do your work or connect with your coworkers if it's a personal issue? If the problem is widespread, such as a downturn in the economy,What can you do to increase your value to a potential employer?

3. Putting the knowledge to use. Make a list of the answers you came up with in Step 2 and use it to make a to-do list with that information. Learning better communication skills, modifying your work habits, enhancing your personal hygiene, and taking classes to expand your working knowledge are some of the improvements you might undertake.

Of course, this applies to ALL forms of inner growth, from the mundane (for example, losing a job) to the esoteric (for example, emotional and spiritual development).

It's like eating a ton of applesauce to break down the learning process into these three parts. When you do it one small step at a time, it's a lot easier and less stressful.a little at a time Another advantage is that recognizing where you are in the process gives you the satisfaction of knowing you're making progress.

What are you studying at the moment? Which stage of your education are you on?
