I am finishing this series of posts about the Djerdap Gorge, or how I like to call it - The Iron Gate of the Danube. I took you briefly to a couple of beautiful locations that this destination provides. Hope you like them. But keep one thing in mind: these are NOT the most beautiful locations of the Danube gorge. I know it sounds immodestly, but that's the way it is. One day I will show you the best views of this gorge, but now is the time to move on. For the goodbye to the beautiful Iron Gate, I am sending you a photo from the location that I discovered quite by accident. I wanted to stop somewhere and make coffee on a camper stove and enjoy the peace for a while. I parked next to the highway and went down a narrow forest path to the Danube.
