About the plant

Neem is a plant of the genus Azadirachta. It originates from Asia, most often grows in India, it is found in Pakistan and Myanmar. It was later spread beyond its core area of growth worldwide, due to its application in organic agriculture.

Nim is used in organic agriculture to control pests. It is used by spraying the infested plant with a prepared preparation or powder from neem leaves, bark or fruit. It is used in a wide range of pest control and fungal attacks. Some of the pests it destroys: plant lice, aphid larvae, mites, thrips, white lice and another 200 species of insects and pests.

The liquid with which the plant is treated is made by putting 10 to 30 ml of neem oil (1 to 3 tablespoons) and 1 to 3 ml of liquid detergent (half a teaspoon) per liter of water. The mixture when made must be consumed or gouged of its properties. Use a new mixture every time! Neem leaf extract that suppresses locusts, caterpillars and reduces their ability to grow. Preparation: 1 kg of green neem leaves is needed for 5 liters of water.
