Ingredients
2 1/2 cup of glutinous rice flour
2/3 cup sugar(adjust as needed)
2/3cup HOT Water
UBE HALAYA
Sesame seeds
Oil for frying
Salt (optional) because I believe na kpg Sweet desserts dpt lging may salt para ma enhance Lalo Ang lasa nito 😀
Procedures:
1)In a mixing bowl combine glutinous rice and mix a pinch of salt (optional)
2) In a separate bowls dissolve sugar and hot water,then add glutinous rice flour.add small amount at a time while mixing until you get the right consistency.
3) Once you get the right consistency,scoop a tbsp of mixture,roll into your palm,flatten a put filling.enclose the dough and roll it into a ball.make sure it is smooth and no cracks on it.repeat the procedure for the rest of the dough.
4) In a bowl combine 2tbsp glutinous rice flour and 3tbsp water to create a watery mixture.this will help the sesame intact in Butchi.
5) Dip each ball in a water mixture then coat it with sesame seeds.roll it in your palm to keep the sesame seeds are sticking well.
6)deep-fry until Golden brown.
Use med-to low fire.
