DEAR FAMILIES, RELATIVES, AND FRIENDS,

STOP BODY SHAMING!!🚫🚫

I know that some of you meant well, but please just stop telling someone everytime you meet that he/she is getting fat, bigger, chubbier and other synonyms for fat because honestly, you are not encouraging that person to become healthy. You are giving that person thoughts that would trigger his/her stress that would lead to depression or worst death. Truth be told, our immediate family and friends are the first person to judge us especially our body and the way we look. If you happen to meet after a long time, please do not greet her with "YOU'RE GETTING FAT!" or "YOU'RE GETTING THICKER!" because trust me it doesn't sound as a compliment even if you meant to say it as a compliment. You may be his/her family, relative, or friend but you don't know everything about him/her. He/she may be experiencing problems that caused him/her gaining weight, like health issues especially for women who has PCOS, stress, depression, and other factors. Your "concerns" as you would always say would not always imply as "concern" to that person. But, would trigger stress and anxiety which would lead to stress eating and eating disorder.
Instead, try telling him/her how you missed her or other things that isn't about his/her size and how he/she look. Or if not better keep your words to your self. OR IF NOT PLEASE STAY AWAY.
