No Oven? No Steamer? No problem!
My version of Banana Bread using kawali as steamer 😊
Ingredients:
4 pcs Saging lakatan
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs (beaten)
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup evap milk
1 tsp vanilla
(OPTIONAL for toppings) raisins or chocolate
Procedure:
1. Mix lang yung ingredients except sa toppings and make sure na nahalong mabuti yung mixture.
2. Magpahid ng oil or butter sa llanera na gagamitin at ilagay ang mixture. Ilagay na din ang toppings sa ibabaw ng mixture then rest ng 20 to 30 minutes
3. Magpakulo ng tubig sa kawali or steamer. If kawali, lagyan ng pwedeng patungan yung llanera na hnd malulusaw or masusunog. Then ilagay na yung llanera na may mixture.
4. Steam for 30 to 45 minutes. Pwede tusukin ng toothpick para malaman kung luto na ang banana bread.
5. Tanggalin sa llanera. I-plating, picturan then serve.
