The power of your imagination
Imagination is the image- making power of the mind, it’s the ability of the mind to make images in it that do or don’t yet exist. Amidst many meanings there are for the word 'imagination', let me add by saying this ‘imagination is a means of transportation’. Through this means, one can travel far round the world, feature in different scenes and stories, become anyone he wants, eat, drink, run or even fly. This may sound rather hilarious, but it is undoubtably true. You can do anything with and in your mind through your imaginations. Too bad, not many people can use their imagination to their advantage. To some people their imagination has helped them mar their lives while to some others, their imagination has been a tool with which they have built their lives into what they wanted it to be.
Our imagination carries power, this power is the power of creation. In our minds lie an invaluable asset, that is the ability to visualize things that don’t yet exist as though they existed already. Our great geniuses who ever lived, became geniuses using the power of their imagination which rested in their minds. The almighty God who created the universe had it as an idea in his mind and with his imagination, he visualized the world before he made it.
Everything that has ever been made on Earth was made twice. The physical tangible object which we hold or see are the second part of any creation. The first part is found in the mind of the creator of the creation; the reproduction of that object or image that the creator had in his mind is what we now call the creation, I mean, that tangible thing that a person produces which we can see or touch.
Every individual must realize the usefulness of this asset he has, given to him by God, the asset inbuilt in him free of charge. The power of our imagination cannot be overemphasized. Creativity begins at the imaginative level.
Who can imagine?
Fortunately, anyone can imagine so long he is living, even an insane man imagines things. However, there is the practice of mastery in the use of our imagination. We must learn to use it for the right purposes because creation begins there. You should discipline yourselves as regards what you imagine. Allow positivity in the use of your imagination, always shun negativity because wrong thoughts can turn into images and when visualized in your mind, they can ruin you or those around you using you as the tool.
I agree with you, that "Life is a potential of success". All of us are endowed with a natural ability, to imagine, and create in a world of today.
As you mentioned, many of us don't understand why we should question ourselves. We fail to realize a purpose of life.
There should be a kind of curiosity in our own lives, to achieve and succeed in a world of today. We have to imagine what life means, to become more creative.
