12.23.21

December 16, 2021, when Super Typhoon Odette hits Leyte and Southern Leyte. Many houses are destroyed, all of the livelihood vanishes, everything and everyone is back to zero.

No water, No shelter, No clothes, and No food for almost a week. The relief goods are not yet distributed and some of the typhoon victims lose their loved ones during the typhoon.

The only thing they can do now prays and wait for the help of the others but the question is how long they should have to wait?

Many people are now messaging us asking for help, especially my friends and colleagues but our resources are limited and can't accommodate all of them.

They are starving, dehydrated, cooled, and traumatized by the typhoon. My heart is aching reading all their posts and messages.

Children do not have any choice, but to beg for food, clothes, and drinking water in the streets.

They didn't expect that they will end up like this and experience this kind of hardship in just a click. A happy and neutral day becomes miserable for the whole year.

Laughing with friends and family turns to a shout of survival.

Now read this with an open heart and clean mind;

Feel and imagine the strong wind and heavy rain pouring on you.

Imagine or feel how scared you are when the strong wind and the storm surge destroy your house.

Hear them screaming and shouting for help.

Imagine how can you sleep in the night without shelter and a comforter to warm you up.

Imagine how you budgeted the food you only have to intake just to live in everyday eating.

Now close your eyes and imagine all of this.

What can you say?

Do you feel their pain, while fighting for their lives?

It is not easy, right?

It is so painful for us, to witness this scenario again. Tripled than the damage of Super Typhoon Yolanda Wayback 2014 that the trees, concrete houses, and two- three-story buildings are being destroyed.

December 21, 2021, I posted on my Facebook account for donations but no one even cares. That's why I chatted with my other college classmates and luckily 5 of them responded and donated 35 food packs and 500 pesos but it is not enough to accommodate the super typhoon victims.

That's why I decided to use my Bch even it is not enough at least it helps.

I bought drinking water with this money. A huge help for the victims.

From the other donations, by tomorrow we will travel and distribute the first wave. Our food packs are only limited because of the budget we have and we only have 14 gallons of water not enough to accommodate the victims.

Now we are planning for the second wave.

Now it's your time to save lives, it's your time to be a hero in a simple way. Be one of us.

Thank you for reading!!
