Introduction
Hello everyone and welcome to another post for Vendata's journey of the crypto world! This post is going to be different from the others I have written. Today, I will be not doing research, but thinking! The crypto world is a massive place, indescribably intricate and powerful over both the virtual and physical world. Within the crypto world, you have different sections to make to whole system work, which each one has its complex features, and then those complex features have their complex features, and the list goes on and on. To understand the crypto world in its entirety would be impossible, there are just too many things to explore! However, it is possible to acquire the general sense of the crypto world, finding out the general processes which keep it alive and flourishing with life, which I will be trying to do in this post.
Analogies are useful to us, explaining difficult-to-understand concepts in a relatable and enjoyable manner, thus allowing a concept to be easily taught/expressed. The crypto world also being a difficult-to-understand (by a lot!) concept, I thought I would spend this article attempting to create an analogy so it is better understood both for myself and you. To begin an analogy, I would need a subject to base it upon, and I believe I have found a good option: the human body.
The Brain
Our brain is whirling with action, sparking commands all over the body so we can continue to live and interact with our environment. It also keeps the body organised, laying out plans for its future while completing them in the present. This I find also applies to the crypto world. However, it is not just one brain, but thousands, each represented as cryptocurrency through their symbol and code. Each cryptocurrency has its regulations and script to develop its own body, which combines with other cryptocurrencies to form the main brain of the cryptocurrency body, thus keeping it alive and well!
The Heart
Now, we have a brain, but how do we have the plans carried out? With the heart! The heart pumps blood throughout our blood, giving us all the nutrients, hormones, and other organic substances to keep us healthy. It constantly works, beat after beat, pushing blood out from our core to its surrounding facilities. The same goes for the crypto body. This heart, just like the brain, is created from the thousands of cryptocurrencies out there. You can think of the crypto world as one massive body formed by thousands of tiny bodies, each complex in their nature. You can even think of the users, which would be me and you, as the cells! With the crypto heart, cryptocurrencies are pumped in and out to each of the cells that need their nutrients to survive, which for us would be our money or services.
The Lungs
The heart brings us the components we need to live around the body, but where do the components come from? The answer covers a great variety of options, but one big one is oxygen, which is acquired through the lungs. Not only do the lungs bring us oxygen, but it also releases carbon dioxide, the organic molecule which brings our body down. Applying this process to the crypto body can be done so with the burning/creation of cryptocurrencies. Not all the tokens of a cryptocurrency are given to all since this would leave nothing left to keep it living. Brand new tokens are brought inside the body, while old ones are expelled, or rather burnt. Of course, the brand new tokens and the old ones are the same things, but the feature that differentiates the two is the fact that one of them have been used, while the other one has not. New tokens mean the cells have a new supply of components to move forward, thus keeping the crypto body working successfully.
Conclusion
There are way more human organs to go through and apply to the crypto body to further explain the concept of the crypto world, but that would take too long, going on for pages and pages. Covering some of the main organs of the crypto body seem to better represent the crypto world, which I hope helps you visualise the great complexity and magnificence of the crypto world. It was a delightful time looking for ways to connect the human body with the crypto body, creating an engaging way to explain the crypto world. The crypto world is extraordinary, and making this analogy of the human body seems to help in illustrating the general ideas, each function of a human organ relating to one in the crypto body!
This is my attempt to create a human crypto body, representing the convoluted crypto world in an easy and informative manner of the human body.
