It is the Vigil of the Assumption, brothers, and sisters! The Angel of Serbia worships the Father, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and intercedes for us before His face, and we - the participants in the Eucharist - offer the only true Sacrifice: the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the salvation of the whole world.
In this liturgical celebration, therefore, he spoke of persons. People are the real wealth of every community. And what these people are like individually, what is their attitude towards others in the community - such can be the community as a whole. The Word of God, even the liturgical texts of this celebration, do not tell us primarily about material wealth, nor about bank interest rates or budgets, budgets… On the contrary: the great Apostle of the people of St. Paul of Tarsus warns us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but about everything — prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving — manifest your petitions to God. And the peace of God, which is above all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds in Jesus Christ ”(Phil 4: 6).
Namely, there is no doubt, brothers and sisters, that in this visible and created world of ours, the most important and priority is to preserve and develop the true, that is, positive attitude towards the First, towards the Originator of everything, towards the Creator of everything! When the relationship to the Original is lost, to the "East"; when we have destroyed the relationship with the one who gave the Seal to everything - everything loses its originality, everything can be distorted, deformed. Our reliance on the Original, on Jesus Christ - the True God and the true man - enables everything not only to preserve its true value but to constantly increase, multiply and thus create new values… This is exactly what the same apostle Paul says in Philippians: “Do what is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is kind, whatever is praiseworthy! Let virtue be in your heart - virtue, praise! ”Such is the heart that is connected with the Creator!
Without praise to the Creator, because that alone is authentic honesty, no community can thrive! Poverty, problems, misunderstandings among people - do not come from a lack of material goods, but from a lack of authentic relations to the Creator. Where there is no relationship to the Creator, there are no authentic things, that is - there are no material goods!
Already the prophet Isaiah, this true evangelical great man from the most delicate moment of ancient Jewish history, says that in all of us there is darkness if we do not allow ourselves to be enlightened by the One who is Coming - by Jesus; he claims, further, that there is true darkness everywhere on Earth if the Earth — otherwise so beautiful — is not illuminated by the Son, the Son written in capital letters; for only He allows us to see this world with His filial eyes — and, therefore, in the right light. Only in His light - claims the psalmist - do we see and see the light. That is why says the great Isaiah, only Jesus is "a wonderful counselor, a mighty God, a King of peace!" Yes, He Himself becomes even an "Eternal Father", because in Him, in the Firstborn and Only Begotten, the Father's Strength, Power, power wealth; only in Him and through Him can we humans successfully continue the co-creation of the world, preserve the harmony of the cosmos, the health of people, improve their diligence, creativity, responsibility.
Praying for the state union and making a sacrifice for the state union means discovering the irreplaceable value of mature human beings. Just keeping the secret of the sanctity of life and building those lives to the heights of bliss (bliss is the spirit of life), allows the state union to make integral progress in integral wealth!
All social relations, all so-called politics - and politics mean caring for the common good of all - must be in the service of the integral birth of new people: both in quantitative and qualitative terms. Today's man, detached from God, from the Creator, no longer tries to belong to the human race and to represent the development of the human race! Today, he feels only as an individual, as dust in the cosmos, as a leaf torn from the tree of life with which the whirlwind of ideologies plays. Interrupting the normal development of the human race always means denying the Creator and imprisoning oneself in the dungeon of nonsense and nihilism!
Blessed are those who are poor in spirit, which means that they put God and every human person in the first place - the icon of God - because only in this way will material wealth necessarily be born from this relationship. Blessed are all the bereaved - those, therefore, who are saddened by today's initialized materialism and agnosticism - because with their grief they best seek the right attitude towards value. Blessed are those who have not been poisoned by the aggressiveness and destructiveness of so many media today and calmly testify to true values: they will conquer the far more beautiful world of the kingdom of God.
Blessed are all who in our time of so much corruption and perversion in the mortal realm - by their lives they are hungry and thirsty for that justice which reigns in the cosmos of the Most Holy Trinity; they will create such a cosmos of communion on our Earth… and in eternity!
