China is changing rapidly. The inscription Made in China is no longer cause for concern, as a decade ago. Moreover, now in China collect not only American smartphones, but also their own. There are no plans to slow down the pace of development there - moreover, the government expects that over the next 10 years, 250 million more people will move to megacities. The grandiose industry requires no less grandiose infrastructure, so the country has invested billions of dollars in major projects: from road construction to new airports and cities on the site of former deserts.

Bridges occupy a separate place in world architecture. These are individual buildings, and there are no two identical bridges in the world. Each of them was created by engineers for a specific place.

Pintan Bridge - cable-stayed bridge on three pillars, will be the highest in the world of reinforced concrete bridge.

Since Guizhou has higher bridges than any other region on earth, few people could have missed the fact that the mountainous Chinese province has never had such a giant "viaduct" as the Miyo Bridge in France. All this will change in 2019 when the Pintan Bridge will open as the second largest viaduct in the world with the second highest bridge structure ever built at 330 meters.

The grandiose Pintan Bridge is scheduled to appear in China by the end of this year. Its length will be more than 2 kilometers, but the most incredible thing about it is its height. The construction will be higher than many skyscrapers, and even the Eiffel Tower is as high as 8 meters behind it. The height of its supports exceeds 330 meters.

This giant structure will have two cable spans of 550 meters in front, supported by three of the highest bridge towers in the world with lengths of 328, 320 and 298 meters.

With so much attention paid to the three supporting bridge towers, the designers have put a lot of effort to give these structures a dynamic sculptural quality, emphasizing the thinner profile and smaller volume that can be expected from such a large concrete mass.

Last November, the construction of the 330-meter-long Pintan Bridge No. 16, which is under construction, was successfully completed. The Pintan Road - Lodian will cross the Caoduhe River Valley in Pintan County, Guizhou Province /South-West China/ and the builders have already started to install the steel beams. According to the forecast, the bridge will be fully completed by the end of 2019.
