The transfer of medical data from Guangdong Province to the Blockhein-based system allowed 17 million tourists to visit Macau.
The solution of the non-profit consortium FISCO BCOS was used to transfer medical data to the Blockhein system. Back in May, the Macau medical data system, also based on the lockdown, was able to recognize the identification codes of the Guangdong Provincial Health System.
To date, 17 million tourists have been cleared between Macao and mainland China using Blockhein systems. It takes only 100 seconds for a tourist to enter the system for the first time, and it takes only 3 seconds for a health check during customs clearance.
Tourist health information is stored in an encrypted form in the FISCO BCOS block-keeper, and the Weldentity messenger WeChat solution is used for data exchange between Macao and Chinese province systems.
In early October it was reported about plans to develop Digital Health Passport system for Singapore residents. The system will allow to store medical data of patients at the blockage, and access to them will be provided through a special "wallet".
