1) Do not send confidential information (bank card number, PIN code, passport data) via social network messengers. It is better to delete emails with scans of documents immediately after sending or receiving them, do not keep them in the mail.

2) If you access social networks or e-mail from someone else's computer, don't forget to log out.

3) Turn off Wi-Fi when you're not using it. Protect yourself and save battery life. Be sure to turn off the automatic Wi-Fi connection in your phone or tablet.

4) Do not trust untested Wi-Fi connections that do not ask for a password. Most often, these networks are used by cybercriminals to steal users' personal data.

5) Do not access online banks and other important services via open Wi-Fi networks in cafes or on the street. Use mobile Internet.

6) Remember: banks, services and stores never send letters asking you to click a link, change your password, enter your bank card number and secret confirmation code or provide other personal information!

7) Turn off Siri on your iPhone. Chances are you do not use it, but scammers have already learned how to withdraw money from the Internet bank by voice commands.

8) Have several e-mail addresses: personal, working and entertaining (for subscriptions and services).

9) Make up a complex password, different for each box.

10) Include two-factor authentication wherever possible.

11) Change passwords regularly, update your browser and spam filters.

12) Install and update antivirus software. Outdated versions cannot guarantee protection against malware. Several new viruses appear every day, so antivirus software needs to be updated as often as possible on how to deal with them.

13) Clicking on links in messages from strangers is a sure way to get hooked by cyber crooks and infect your device with viruses. A dangerous link can also come from a hacked acquaintance, so it is better to clarify what he sent you and whether you should open it.

14) Do not launch unknown files, especially those with the extension .exe.

15) Carefully check link addresses, logos, text and sender of messages.

16) Never reply to spam.

17) If you receive a request in your messenger from an acquaintance asking you to send money urgently, do not send anything! First, call him back and make sure the account hasn't been hacked.

18) Minimize personal information: don't post your home address online, don't write what time you're away, don't describe your regular route, don't brag about big purchases, and in general try not to advertise your level of wealth.

19) Do not download dubious applications and do not try to do it with unknown links. Use only official stores App Store, Google Play and Windows Market.

20) Try not to buy anything in social networks, especially with prepayment. In general, it is not recommended to transfer money to the card of individuals (that is, when someone just gives you the number or details of their card).

21) Make a separate (can be virtual) card for payments in the Internet.

22) If you use your regular card for online payments, do not keep large sums of money on it.

23) Connect your bank to SMS-notification of all operations on cards and accounts. This way you can quickly notice if your card is compromised and block it.

24) Always lock your computer screen, even if you step away "just for a minute".

NEVER FORGET THE PROTECTION MEASURES, only you can protect your devices.
