I know lots of us here are using computer to surf the internet and experiencing a laggy desktop. So in this article I will share to you the steps on how to get rid of the lags in your desktop. If you like this feel free to give some comments below and consider leaving a like. Thank you! :*
Step 1: Power Option
_Go to Control Panel -> Power Options -> Select High Performance
or (_Go to Power & Sleep setting -> Related Settings -> Additional Power Settings -> Select High Performance)
Step 2: Start Up Apps
_Go to Task Manager -> Startup -> Disable Unwanted Apps (*Do not disable Anti viRus And other important Apps)
Step 3: Defragment
_Go to Defragment and Optimize Drives -> Select (CDrive -> Optimize -> Wait to Pass 1% then close
Step 4: Disk Clean Up
_Right Click on Local Disk (C-> Disk Cleanup -> Clean Up System Files -> OK -> Delete Files
Step 5: Visual Settings
_Contol Panel -> System and Security -> System -> Advanced System Setting -> Performance -> Setting -> Adjust to best Performance
Step 6: Temporary Files Delete (3 steps)
_Run (Windows+R) -> Type %Temp% -> CTRL+A then Delete
_Run (Windows+R) -> Type Temp -> CTRL+A then Delete
_Run (Windows+R) -> Type prefetch -> CTRL+A then Delete
Step 7: Hide Window Services
__Run (Windows+R) -> Type msconfig -> Services -> Just check Hide all Microsoft services (lower left corner) -> OK
Step 8: Regedit
_Run (Windows+R) -> Type regedit -> HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Control Panel -> Mouse -> MouseHoverTime (default Data =400) -> Change/Modify to value of 10
_Run (Windows+R) -> Type regedit -> HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Desktop -> MenuShowDelay (default Data =400) -> Change/Modify to value of 10 (or 0)
after all of the steps you can now
_Restart
your computer.
