I have published yesterday an introduction of what is Creative Writing.

This article is the continuation of my last article since I wasn't able to complete it as i have some responsibilities to do.

Creative Writing

1. It is imaginative and fictional

2. Its vocabulary are in general

3. Fun and entertaining

4. Artistic

5. Subjective

Technical Writing

1. Base on true events

2. Instructions are very informative

3. On and straight to the point

4. Objective

5. Its vocabulary are specialized

Their Key Differences

Even if it is an inspired idea, most part of creative writing is self-created while in technical writing it needs to have an obliged truth and relying from the previous conclusion, it will deliver the note.

Commonly, technical writing gives entertainment to people as it contains poetry or some idea unlike creative writing can be boring in giving the audiences the information or idea.

The vocabulary in technical writing that are specialized like terms from science and other are what they were using while in creative writing you can slang the terms or phrase for the audience.

One useful essence of creative writing is HUMOR but still the idea from it doesn't have any connections with technical writing.

ACADEMIC AND IMAGINATION WRITING

• Academic and imagination writing are different just like how newspapers and websites differ.

•On behalf of their brand, press release and journal entries also differ to each other. You must have a concept from them to be able to understand the writing.

CREATIVE AND ACADEMIC FUNDAMENTAL DIFFERENCES.

• It doesn't need to have an specified style when using creative writing

• Must be adhered a guideline series and structured good.

RIGID can also be a kind of academic writing that purposely to get knowledge and information that follows in organized formula in its necessity. Anyone should master it as it can be learned by anyone.

INSPIRED writing is another kind of creative writing that is entertaining with art that includes conceptions and photo that is fun to read.

•All in all, it needs more personal expressions for creative writing while academic writing is to search for an arguments, ideas and concepts.

•Present challenges like Time Pressure and support needs more strong evidence for Academic writing.

•Both reach its purposes.

SENSORY DETAILS

- With the use of our five senses ( taste, smell, touch, sight and sound ), writers tries to take the interest of the readers.

This is very essential to what you are writing if you want your readers to engage in reading.

Remembering what you have tasted, touched, heard, seen or smelled from the past experience, and apply it into your details for writing or think about your favorite games, cartoons or any movies.

Take ideas about their sounds and what it looks like. What are the characteristics of your favorite character?

Using SENSORY DETAILS can make your story come to life.

With the used of sensory details, whatever you are describing, readers can experience it personally.

Connecting to your readers personally can be enabled through your writings with universal idea and it will surely conveys.

Another thing is, every senses are equally important. No sense is better or greater than the others. Each senses plays an important role in your work.

But even so, when it comes to Vivid Writing, Imagery in the sight sense is usually used.

Examples of passage with NO SENSORY DETAILS.

"After i bought a flowers in the store, I directly went to the market but later on I realized I forgot the bread I need to buy."

The sentences or phrases doesn't have anything to make the readers come to the world or idea of the writer.

Example with Sensory Detail.

"After I bought a flowers in the store, I directly went to the market and suddenly I saw a red rose while on my way. The rose is so fragrant that I put it inside my dusty bag. As i reached the market, it is so noisy and so I get out from there to drink some delicious juice nearby."

I have use the sensory detail of;

Sight - saw

Smell - fragrant

Touch - dusty

Hear - noisy

Taste - delicious

With the use of sensory details, the readers can personally experience it even just with reading.

Readers would feel that they were there actually and it makes a connection with the writer.

With sensory details, the story can be more understandable and fun.
