Something that is constantly ignored in this century is mental health. I am not going to discuss the reasons of mental challenges people face in their lives there can be a number of possibilities behind why a person experience mental health problems including; unstable career, failure in relationships, unemployment, less attention, absence of social circle and the list goes on. The purpose of my writing is to let people, I mean the readers believe that "having mental issues is normal" and this is not something that make them feel alienated. Having anxities and depressions is a normal thing and above all there are possibilites to overcome them. We should always encourage ourselves to look at the light and little rays of hope.
Let us first talk about the root cause of mental health problems. The problem lies in our ownselves, most of us do not understand the very simple concept of "acceptance" we do not accept our own identities. Most of the women demorale and discourage themselves by constantly comparing their selves with other women in the society. They develop vicious circles of insecurities that made them unable to see the blessings they have. Similarly, most men in a society compare their social status with other men and this make them experience helplessness and self guilt. They constantly think that what they are providing to their families is not enought while other men of elite class are doing more for their families. These guilts, insecurities and complexes create void in oneselves and that void eliminate one's ability to feel happy. In order to overcome these mental health problems rather I will call them "dark holes" one has to learn " Acceptance." Of a women is little less beautiful than other she should say this go herself "There is no comparison of me with anyone because by comparing myself I am dishonoring myself." I believe we spend half of our lives in learning the very concept of "acceptance" and when we get to know about it, we realize that we have spent our lives in worrying about things that never needed our attention. Learn to let go what others have and appreciate and accept what you are. Nobody on earth is useless, you have a worth even if you are not valuable to so many yet you are valuable to yourself and to the people for whom your smile counts.
Now let's discuss about the solutions. There are some points you need to work on to overcome your anxieties and worries. I have tried my best find adequate points as per my knowledge and experience, these are mentioned below:
When you wake up everyday close your eyes for a while and say "Thank You to the nature for a new day"
Try to drink a lot of water and eat healthy food as it helps us feel good.
Select one friend with whom you are so close and feel comfortable to talk
If you find it hard to talk with anyone write your thoughts on paper or make notes.
Help three people a day! why so ? because helping others help us too. As by healing others you heal yohrself.
Make a minimum smile target (this will include the minimum number of smiles)
If you are dealing with a difficult situation say this to yourself "I have been through a lot of situations like this and I will go through it" or "This too shall pass"
When you feel you cannot gather yourself close the lights of your room put on your blanket and listen to your favorite music (you can listen raining sound or anything that fascinates you) this will help you feel calm.
There is nothing that humans cannot do, all you have to do is to convince yourself that you can overcome any hardship or hurdle. We being humans have this flaw that sometimes, we give up so early in life. We end up right before when we are supposed to win. We accept failures too early in life this makes us live with our anxities. We should focus on positivity and the beauty that is still left in life for us. Each one of us deserve life with all of it's beauty, we should not think we are the only one in troubles there are so many people around us facing more worst than what we are going through all we need to know is to believe that there is light out there and we deserve some sparks too.
