White Coats And Him

The crowd shouting his name

I cannot see their eyes, I cannot see your smile

The families shouting a kid's name

He can't hear them out, he's in his magical time

Meeting the fairies, in his deep slumber

Stumbled upon the famous parable

White Coats and white halo is seen

What he thinks is, if not for them, where he could have been..?

I hear the truthlful lies, being told to the families

I cannot see a cure, I can't see future joy

The families think its a white lie, wished he was hercules

They cannot see their hard work, they've only seen

How he choked on the food, how he could not breathe

How he lunged for water, but he could not see

His eyes blurred the luminous world

His mouth said just one word,

"Mommy."

But he's sitting down there, waiting for the sleep to end

He wants to go to the beach and play with the sand

Making castles and bridges, he'd in live with his friends

And only he knows that he was touched with White Coat's miraculous hands....

The white coats put on by Gods and their human assistants

Checking whether everything is in place

Checking every right tool to cure his ailments

That is when we see

The White Coats alone in the room with him

They have their gloves on

In a moment they turn on their magic

I'm not here to eulogize someone's duty

I'm here, I'm trying to signify, a profession

A treasure, a work that prolonges our hearts beat...

If not for them, the kid would still be in his sleep

His soul escaping his body's boundaries

If not for them, the families would have started to weep

For the kid couldn't have woken up from his sleep.

Looking with awe at them

One day, he made a belief,
