CUT TO:
DILSHAD enters the auditorium. MEGHA seated before the stage and 2 3 boys and girls talking to each other. A girl and a boy is practicing a romantic scene on stage.
MEGHA (pointing at the
performers, directing)
No no.. Not that way. Let her sit down and look at the sky while you come from behind tiptoeing.
DILSHAD comes near to her. She is fully involved in directing.
DILSHAD
Hi.
Oh hi! You came. I thought you will not come.
(beat) (excited)
So, as you can see we are a bunch of what to say, art maker and I myself is the art director.
She stands up and does a bow.
DILSHAD smiles, his eyes looked dreamy and sparked.
MEGHA (turns around)

MEGHA (CONT'D)
Do you know why I called you here?
No.
DILSHAD
MEGHA
You have very dreamy eyes and
something artistic about you. Something is like trying to escape out but is failing.
DILSHAD
I am not getting what you are
saying.
MEGHA Wait
She runs towards the stage and climbs up in enthusiasm. She point out towards the dimly lit stage. Light falling on her made her glow but not illuminating her totally.
MEGHA (CONT'D) (enthusiastically)
Describe this. Describe me.
DILSHAD feels a bit awkward. He looks around at others and most of them is busy looking at MEGHA awestruck by her act.
DILSHAD stammers and engulfs.
MEGHA (CONT'D) Come on... Say! Describe me.
(passionate music starts slow)
DILSHAD (stammers)
You... You are like a broken lover in search of a wisdom or passion to hold on, to remember the one you lost.
MEGHA And? Continue...
(passionate music takes up epic form)
DILSHAD
The light falling on you describes
the two parts of your heart. (MORE)

DILSHAD (CONT'D)
One part wants to hold on to its old one while the other wants to fly off in search of wisdom. The
glow signifies the glow of the innocence and the smile and quick movement signifies the childish nature of the heart. The dark part of you tells about the pains that you have suffered. The dark part wants to stay but the illuminated part just don’t stop pulling her out. Gradually the whole of you will shine and you will be born a new one.
(music fades out)
A silence prevailed when DILSHAD finishes his soliloquy. The silence is broken when MEGHA utters a word.
MEGHA Excellent. Brilliant.
A loud ovation happens and DILSHAD looks around in awe. He feels shy.
MEGHA (CONT'D)
See I told you. I am never wrong
you see.
(A passionate happy music resumes in the background) DILSHAD smiles at his act.
MEGHA (CONT'D) (looking at others)
You all continue. I will be joining you guys soon.
MEGHA walks with DILSHAD over to a door.
MEGHA (CONT'D)
I want you to be our story teller.
The main story and script writer. (beat)
As you saw, we are a bunch of theatrical group and so I found you the perfect one for us. I invite you over to our secret close group.
She leaves DILSHAD at the door and again starts walking back towards the stage. DILSHAD stood there awestruck and surprise by this sudden entry of a character in his life.

MEGHA turns around while walking and continues walking backwards and says
MEGHA (CONT'D)
Will be waiting for your answers
DILSHAD smiles back at her.
DILSHAD
Sure! I, I will let you know soon
(The background music changes to a love music)
DILSHAD stood there watching her walk towards the stage and then walks out from the auditorium smiling and scratching his hair.
INT. CLASS - DAY
(happy passionate music plays)
A male teacher (35) teaching in a class and DILSHAD is busy writing in his notebook. The teacher’s dialog is silent and DILSHAD is in no way concentrating on what the teacher teaches. His eyes down and busy writing. Sometimes he lifts up his head only to look bluntly towards the teacher and then again resumes his writing.
Suddenly a chalk flies towards up.
(Background music goes silent)
TEACHER What? Where are you?
jotting down.
DILSHAD (nervously)
Noth... nothing sir.
TEACHER Concentrate here.
DILSHAD Yes... yes sir.
DILSHAD looks around and finds She points towards the writing
DILSHAD and he lifts his head
What are you
MEGHA (mouthing silently)
How much did you write?
MEGHA smiling looking at him. and gestures.

DILSHAD gestures “nothing much” with his hands. She smiles and again turns towards the teacher.
INT. AUDITORIUM - EVENING (no music)
DILSHAD sits around a group of eager audience of 10 members. He holds a script and reads it out loud.
MEGHA watches his expressions and his audiences’ expression with interest.
DILSHAD
Guru vedh says to drishtan - Enough
Drishtan! Leave. It’s not your weapon to mingle with. You will have to learn more.
(beat)
Draksha smiles looking at the misery of drishtan when he too gets scolded of it. Guru vedh says DRAKSHA don’t get so happy. You too failed but less miserably than drishtan. If you...
(A passionate background music continues)
The dialog goes silent while DILSHAD continues reading his script. MEGHA and other listens to him with eagerness and awe.
(music takes up speed.
When he finishes reading his script, the whole audience starts clapping. MEGHA looks at him with respect and joy. She says something in praise but the dialog is not heard.
(music fades)
