Watches are an important part of our lives. They give the person a sense of time and place, provide reassurance that they are capable of doing something productive, and can be used as a reminder. But how do we choose the best watch? I’ve been looking for “the one”, but it seems like there is no right or wrong answer, so instead I am going to list my top ten watches. No brand will be featured, so it’s just for fun or to see which one appeals to you best.

Aristotle said it best when he wrote that everything in life has two sides. He meant this watch is going to be your best friend on the other side. And, according to me, it is the perfect pair to share your day with and make sure you know when you need another thing to look forward to, not to mention a new pair of eyesight glasses when needed. So if you enjoy making coffee on Saturday mornings at home or when you aren’t wearing makeup, then this is an item I would recommend to you. It also comes from China, and I think is very convenient, but it’s also quite expensive. Which to you is an option, and maybe an option to someone else’s taste. Whatever your budget is, don’t take offense to the fact that this is quite costly so here goes…

Garmin Forerunner 235: This product that came out recently was my favorite watch of 2018, and I could not pick one over it. That being said, most people look for value because of its features, and this watch does plenty of both. For instance, it makes good-looking watches that do all the work themselves because of their sturdy case design. The Garmin Forerunner 235 is easy to use and easy to set up and manage. Another great feature the forerunner 235 offers is having a stopwatch in the back that not only helps everyone keep track of time and ensure that they are on time, but also reminds them to take breaks when needed, to be more productive at meetings, etc. The GPS will also help you decide what route you want to take, allowing you time to get lost in the mountains when you need to and being able to track your progress and see where you left off. The 3200mAh battery life is outstanding and lasts forever (even when using it with Bluetooth headphones). The watch itself is made out of durable metal and durable plastic, giving it a strong and stable appearance. There is a built-in barometer, which gives you accurate tracking data, and it shows the strength of gravity and water resistance. While some may have doubts about its durability, it stands alone in the industry and has won several awards over the years. To add to that, you get access to a dedicated Facebook page that keeps you updated with current events and other information regarding watches, fitness equipment, and personal health. I cannot praise this enough for its high-quality materials and innovative applications that have helped countless people lose weight and give their lives purpose. Plus, thanks to the Garmin Connect 2 app, users can stay connected with their friends via mobile devices, enabling communication with friends that live far off the range. Lastly, no matter what happens, your phone will always be within reach, ensuring that you have access to anything important in life, especially for times when you might need it but don’t have anyone to call. As for price, Garmin estimates its price tag between $240 and over $500, depending on exactly what model you select. With that being said, it does offer additional benefits such as automatic workouts, notifications, and reminders about upcoming events, making it that much better! I’m sure the idea for why I like this particular watch wasn’t necessarily to make me happy about spending money. I love the concept behind it because once you wear a pair of these, you will look at your watch every single day. If you choose a different color for your watch, you will surely start to notice the difference immediately. Especially now with COVID, we have had to spend more time indoors at home. Without the thought in mind of needing to keep an eye on your surroundings, this watch is perfect. You will find yourself staring at your phone more often than ever before, and it is quite difficult to go without your phone these days. Once upon a time, I would never have thought of myself as taking advantage of these times, but I should have known that these moments would come sooner than later, which is why being able to track time is beneficial. Even though the company, however, has been around for almost 20 years, they’re still able to create products that everyone needs to use. Their quality knows no bounds, and I’m glad they’re keeping that in mind so they can continue to produce quality watches that last long after you purchase them.
