CNN Philippines condemned Presidential Spokeperson Harry Roque's disgrace to Reporter Triciah Terada.
CNN Philippines announced Tuesday that it was not Terada who wrote the news online or online article on CNN's site, Roque pointed out that Terada's writing was the reason for the uproar on Social Media especially on twitter.
CNN has made it clear that Terada's task is to produce video reports and not to write on their site.
CNN asserted itself in Roque's mouth that the government had 'had no mass testing program for COVID-19.' Roque never gave the Reporter a chance to explain and didn't even let his side hear, it was a live broadcast.
Terada seemed to be overly concerned, especially as Roque pointed out that CNN was the only one to broadcast the news.
But according to CNN, most news organizations have been blished and aired the same report, saying the government is doing “expanded targeted mass testing” and not “mass testing”.
