What Are Your Blog Topics?
What are the topics you write your blogs about?
What should you do to choose your blog topics?
Should you write randomly on a topic that comes to your mind?
Should you have to create your blogging challenges?
May you link your blog topics to your other professional activities?
Can your blogs be planned to produce a sellable solution/product?
What should be the strategy to decide on blog topics?
Choose your blog topics cautiously and intentionally yet flexibly
One of my LinkedIn connections from Canada, who owns an IT consulting company, writes blogs on historical and celebrety characters.
Those blogs are a series on celebrity characters, such as Julius Ceasar, Thomas Alva Edison, Charles Chaplin, M. K. Gandhi (where I contradicted him a lot), and so on.
Later my Canadian blogger connection collected the interrelated blogs on those celebrities and published two e-books sold decently on Amazon.
It is an example of how blogs may be planned on interrelated topics, which may contribute to forming excellent e-books in the long run.
Thus, bloggers may (should) choose blog topics intentionally yet flexibly.
Purposefully written blogs can yield sellable e-books.
Keep a blogging plan in the background
I see plenty of bloggers who announce their blogging challenges with the thought to inspire other fellow bloggers to write in the same direction.
Nothing is surprising about associating the community with your blogging journey. It is quite positive to inspire and help others.
You always need not disclose your blogging plan to the readers.
The bloggers may also enjoy the freedom to keep their writing plans private.
You can work freely on a mission of writing on a few pre-planned topics without disclosing anything to the reader and writer community.
When you have a plan in your mind, or even a written down plan on paper or in an electronic document, you can peacefully work on those pre-planned writing projects without having any sort of challenges in the mind.
Concluding thoughts
Unless you work for a client to write a commissioned blogging project, freelancing blogging has full freedom.
It is up to the bloggers whether they will write a diary, sort of a blog every morning or night, or write on apriori blogging plans. Both techniques may work equally well.
An advance planning of blogs has the benefit of peace of mind about the topics.
The planned blogs may also be channelized to contribute toward probable chapters of a future e-book or a course on a coherent topic.
Postscript
Let me admit that the title of the article writes it in an imperative mode. But, it is a self-reminder for my blogging persona to take care of the blogging exercises I do almost every day.
From today, I have decided to have at least a flexible blogging plan in the background. I don't want to lose focus on my planned topics.
