New Work Philosophy Work is more than just work. Work works as work and nothing else. It is common knowledge. People may laugh if anybody analyzes work to get more meaning from it. People tend to think likewise. What is **new** in **work**? Work is work. Isn't it? No, **new work** involves radically new strategies. The work executed by different people becomes different. The work executed by people at different times is different. The work, my parents executed and accomplished forty/fifty years ago was much different from what our generations do now. Work for you and me are not the same. You may do a job in your way. I will do it in my way. The main objectives may remain the same. Our methodologies and implementation strategies may differ. The US-based German philosopher Frithjof Bergmann coined the term new worked in his research postulate that the old school of work is outdated. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frithjof_Bergmann Frithjof Bergmann carried out deep research studies in the social philosophy field and found a freedom-oriented work culture that he called **new work**. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frithjof_Bergmann As a global citizen, you are the sole decider of how you will work to create solutions for which area of human life and society. There is a challenge to the traditional knowledge about work that our forefathers and teachers profess because it may not suit the present-day complexities of the world. In short, **new work** is the new way of working in the era of the Internet, cyberspace, and the technology-driven global platforms in the digital age. Predictive conclusion The present-day work has already transformed into a hybrid form in terms of **working from home** and **working from anywhere** as well as **in-office work**. The digital arena of the Internetworked cyberspace unfolds a new book of knowledge for work - the new trends of **remote and hybrid work**. The new knowledge empowers people to engage in a new type of work that may be called **new work**, which gives ultimate freedom and unimaginable flexibility. ***The future of work is new and continually changing.***

I continued with an academic job as a professor of electronics and communication engineering in private engineering colleges for about ten years until I bid goodbye to all full-time jobs in 2017. I have adopted self-employed work since then.
