"Free Julian Assange Now" is a Correct Demand

Journalism is not like any other professional occupation.

We work to earn our livelihood.

One can earn in many ways - by working as an electrician, plumber, mason, carpenter, farmer, potter, painter, engineer, manager, graphic artist, reporter or journalist, writer, content creator, etc.

• A journalist's or news reporter's job is not like any other profession.

A news reporter has to work with the people and collect the truth about incidents happening around different parts of the world.

• It requires courage, zeal, and mental toughness to unfurl the truth behind incidents, events, and accidents.

Journalists may often face harsh treatment by the people and the governments.

WikiLeaks is a free press journal project started 17 years ago.

Julian Assange founded WikiLeaks, a non-profit publisher and media organization, about 17 years ago on October 04, 2006.

• Julian Assange is an Australian editor, publisher, ethical hacker, and activist.

• Julian could hack inside army webservers and extract encrypted data.

With exceptional programming and hacking skills, Julian could unfurl several big corruptions around the world and release them through the WikiLeaks site.

I remember, earlier most mainstream news media used to refer to Wikileaks as a source of a scam or fraud around any incident in a country.

The corrupt politicians and military departments, etc. were afraid of continuous scanning/hacking operations by the WikiLeaks team.

The problem with the corrupt leaders was that they could not guess or identify how the WikiLeaks team hacked secret data, including breaking encrypted videos from the army websites.

So, the big political leaders didn't have any other option other than to take Julian captive and implement a severe prosecution plan.

Julian Assange has been arrested and facing legal prosecution.

• The big countries, such as the US and the UK, joined hands to arrest Julian Assange and carry out a pre-planned prosecution procedure.

• Julian Assange has been in jail custody in the HM Prison Belmarsh in London since April 2019. And, the US government's extradition effort is being contested in the British courts.

• We read updates from his wife Stella Assange's X/Twitter space about Julian's unjust treatment in court procedures.

Is journalism a crime?

The basic question is, whether journalism is a crime.

• If not, then why Julian Assange has been in jail?

Julian Assange published the truth of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan via WikiLeaks.

Julian Assange has been bestowed with innumerable international awards for his exceptional freelance journalism contribution through the WikiLeaks project.

• But, the US, the UK, and their ally governments conspired to stop Julian Assange.

• They wanted to show Julian Assange's prosecution and fearmonger the entire freelance journals community.

Julian Assange is in prison for exposing the truth about war crimes.

• The totalitarian governments are afraid of freelance journalism. That is the reason they want to suppress the freedom of the press.

Global citizens are showering support for Julian Assange's release.
