The role of news papers in voicing and moulding public opinion cannot be over- empbasised . The Muslim view -point never got enough publicity for want of Muslim - controlled daily news papers in English .

The Pakistan times was started at a time when momentous issues affecting the future of Muslims of India were on the anvil and the need for Muslim paper was the greatest.

I have watched the development of Pakistan times during the twelve months of it's existence with great interest and I am glad to note that it has established itself now fairly firmly. It has considerably grown in stature during this short period and I am sure it will grow from strong strength as time passes provide d it maintain of the press and advocates the cause and true interest of the people without fear or favour. I wish the Pakistan times every success and prosperity.
